Inspiring Girls to become the Entrepreneurs of the Future

We are delighted to announce the launch of a national competition for Year 10 girls in GSA members’ schools in association with BBC Apprentice star Claire Young, now a successful businesswoman and Social Enterprise champion. The aim of the ‘Ahead of the Game’ competition is to inspire girls to be the entrepreneurs of the future.
The competition is arranged in three stages, the first of which will be a series of regional events held in four schools around the UK.

Monday 19th March, West Sussex – Burgess Hill School for Girls
Thursday 22nd March, Newcastle – Central Newcastle High School
Monday 26th March, Birmingham – Edgbaston High School
Wednesday 28th March, Liverpool – Merchant Taylors’ Girls’ School

As girls begin to investigate the possible avenues for further education and/or the future world of work this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable enterprise skills in an event that reflects the support and guidance that member schools within the GSA are proud to embrace.

Information packs are now available for download with registrations being made directly with the host schools.
