| 22 September 2010 | Girls Go Gold - GSA in association with The Lady Eleanor Holles School This one-day conference is for elite sportswomen in Years 10-13 at GSA schools, who represent their county or country in their chosen sport (and all stages in between). Keynote speakers include Sally Gunnell OBE and Gabby Logan In addition there will be a series of break-out sessions covering the following topics: Sports Psychology; Sports and the Media; Sports at University; Fitness and Conditioning; Sports Nutrition. Representatives from a number of leading sports universities in the UK will also be present. The Conference will be held at The Lady Eleanor Holles School, Hampton, Middlesex commencing at 10.00 am, registration from 9.30 am. Cost: £15 per pupil, to include packed lunch and conference materials. Places for accompanying members of staff are free. Early booking is recommended and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. | 24 - 26 May 2011 | GSA Heads' Induction - Part I VENUE: Marriott Breadsall Priory, nr Derby The purpose of this course is to introduce into the Association newly appointed Heads and those who have recently taken up their appointments. It is designed to be of equal benefit to those who are new to headship and experienced Heads from other sectors. It will provide delegates with an excellent opportunity to network with colleagues in a similar position to their own; to share the joys, fears and insecurities in pleasant surroundings without fear of judgement!
